Rounding out the evening is a new work by Houston Thomas, a choreographer recognized for his musicality, theatrical intelligence, and emotionally charged movement language. A former soloist with Dresden Semperoper Ballett, Thomas has gone on to create works for a wide range of leading schools and companies.

Created especially for CPYB, this premiere underscores the organization’s commitment to giving young artists meaningful opportunities to engage with today’s important choreographic voices—and to meet the demands of contemporary repertory with depth and artistry.
